And so it begins...

Well, the new semester is definitely under way, at least for most people. I'm actually pretty excited. It ought to be a fun semester. And I realized that I enjoy being busy and having stuff to do, so I like having assignments to do and books to read.

Now, I know my progress bar for my book hasn't moved up much in a while, but I have my reasons. I'm not sure if it's due to lack of sufficient outlining or if it's just because stories seem to take you in different directions than you might have expected, but I have been trying to do a bunch of rewriting. I know, people say that you shouldn't rewrite when you are still writing the book. This isn't that kind of rewriting though. This is the type where something was missing, so I put it in there. Only now I have to rewrite the beginning so that it fits. That's basically where I am. I'm making the story much cooler and more interesting. I want to finish it sometime soon so that I can fix it up a bit and then send it in.
